Cortec® CorroLogic® VpCI®
Engineered solutions or CorroLogic® solutions as they are collectively known have been designed for corrosion in the oil and gas industry and are targeted at four corrosion problem applications:
- Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST)
- Cased Pipeline Crossings
- Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI)
- Pigging and Pipeline Internal Protection
The CorroLogic® systems for Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST’s) incorporate Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®) that can be applied to new or existing tanks.

CorroLogic® engineered solutions are also used to mitigate corrosion under insulation (CUI) on pipes—an ongoing problem for many industrial facilities. CorroLogic® CUI Inhibitor of course can be used om both new or existing insulation on pipes experiencing temperatures up to 170 °C and CorroLogic® CUI High-Temp Inhibitor can be applied to insulation that will be wrapped around clean pipes reaching temperatures up to 600 °C.
